Maserati has formalized the presentation of the Maserati Grecale, which in the meantime has been seen on the streets of Modena.
It was supposed to appear last November 16, but the difficulties caused by the semiconductor crisis in the automotive sector have blown the party: fortunately, however, the Maserati Grecale is practically almost ready and the demonstration was given by the latest official shots taken during a around the streets of Modena. The specimen that you can also admire by browsing the photos in the gallery has reached its final version and for this reason the House of the Trident has also formalized its new presentation date: 22 March.
Features of Maserati Grecale
Two days after the beginning of spring we will therefore discover all the details on this new work of art signed by Maserati, which in the meantime has already anticipated some of its important features thanks to the writings on the “camouflage” paint of its body. The Grecale glimpsed in Modena, in fact, shows for example the phrases ” My Maserati Intelligent Assistant can be controlled by ” and ” My cockpit flaunts more than … in display surfaces “, demonstrating that its cockpit will be completely digital and its infotainment will be controllable by voice commands.
Overall, however, now the Grecale shows its aesthetic lines in a clearer way, including the sporty front bumper , the huge traditional Maserati grille with central logo, the sharp headlights, the spoiler on the sloping rear window and the chrome plating . at the rear. Based on the Giorgio platform shared with the Alfa Romeo Stelvio, the Grecale will ensure all- wheel drive on all its versions , possibly combined with the electronic self-locking differential for the most performing models.
As for the engines, the Maserati Grecale will first offer the four-cylinder 2.0-liter mild -hybrid technology already seen on the Ghibli (which in this case should deliver around 300 horsepower), and then move on to the more powerful 3.0 V6 Neptune derivative . from the sporty MC20. In the future, a version with a 100% electric powertrain and a 90 kWh battery pack is also planned , which will become part of the Folgore family by right. All the details, in any case, will be confirmed in a few weeks.
