After teasing glimpses over time, the anticipation has come to an end as Mitsubishi’s latest B-SUV is unveiled. The grand reveal took place at the 2023 GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show in Jakarta, marking the official launch of the all-new Mitsubishi Xforce 2024 compact B-SUV in Indonesia.

Derived from the Mitsubishi XFC Concept, the All-New Mitsubishi Xforce 2024 boasts a contemporary and robust aesthetic. It comes furnished with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine, generating a potent 105 horsepower. Anticipated to make its mark in our region, including ASEAN, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa.

In the realm of design, the All-New Mitsubishi Xforce draws inspiration directly from the XFC Concept, nearly resembling a prototype. As a result, the design differences are minimal.

The frontal design adopts the Dynamic Shield style, featuring a spacious grille showcasing the iconic silver Three Diamond emblem. Both the front and rear lights boast a contemporary T-shape design. Rolling on 18-inch wheels, the vehicle is equipped with 225/50/R18 tires.

In the realm of dimensions, the Mitsubishi Xforce spans 4,390 mm in length, 1,810 mm in width, and stands at 1,660 mm in height, boasting a wheelbase of 2,650 mm. Impressively, it offers a generous ground clearance of 222 mm, surpassing rivals within its segment. This elevated clearance aims to facilitate off-road driving capabilities as well.

Interior Details

Diverging from the design of other Mitsubishi models, the cabin interior presents a unique aesthetic. The dashboard showcases an 8-inch Digital Driver Display positioned alongside a 12.3-inch infotainment screen within the same panel. Seamless wireless compatibility with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is seamlessly integrated.

Included is the Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium audio system, boasting an impressive ensemble of 8 speakers. This marks a pioneering collaboration between an automaker and a musical instrument manufacturer, resulting in exceptional sound quality and audio technology.

The interior offers seating for five occupants, a space Mitsubishi asserts is notably roomier within its class. The seats are adorned in Mélange upholstery, lauded for their stain-resistant properties and heat endurance. The rear seats can be individually adjusted and conveniently folded in a 40:20:40 configuration.

Furthermore, within the Mitsubishi Xforce’s cabin, there’s an integrated cooling compartment. The amenities encompass a wireless phone charger, USB ports both at the front and rear, ambient lighting, and a Dual Zone automatic air conditioning system enriched with Nanoe-X technology. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with a Hands-free feature, enabling effortless operation of the electric tailgate, including opening and closing.

Performance Details

Regarding its power capabilities, the vehicle will be equipped with a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine, generating up to 105 horsepower and a peak torque of 141 Nm. This power is harnessed through a CVT gearbox.

Offers a selection of 4 distinct driving modes: Normal, Wet, Gravel, and Mud. Notably, the Wet mode has been specifically crafted to suit the weather and road conditions prevalent in the ASEAN region. Moreover, it boasts the inclusion of the esteemed Active Yaw Control (AYC) system, a source of Mitsubishi’s pride.

This system will find its place in both the Mitsubishi Xpander Cross and the All-NEW Mitsubishi TRITON, incorporating a MacPherson strut front suspension and a torsion beam rear. The setup is completed with disc brakes on all four wheels.

Manufactured at Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha’s facility in Indonesia, the fresh Mitsubishi Xforce is set to position itself as a formidable contender against the Toyota Yaris Cross, Honda WR-V, and Hyundai Creta, all part of the 1.5 engine group.
