The Dacia Duster Facelift will start in September 2021 in the highly competitive SUV segment. While the price and equipment such as Comfort are still unclear.
Duster of second generation (HM) began to be sold in February. And in the European Union this car under the Romanian brand Dacia has been available for the fifth year. This is why Renault has introduced an updated version of the European Duster.
The main change outside is the headlights with LED daytime running lights and direction indicators. LED-elements are make in the graphics of the letter Y upside down – this stroke makes Duster similar to the Logan / Sandero of the third generation . Other exterior innovations include redesigned taillights, a new radiator grille, and aerodynamically designed 16-inch and 17-inch alloy wheels. They have thoroughly blown through the pipe. So that they are now working to improve energy efficiency.
Perfomance Details
Inside, there is an improved media system with an eight-inch screen. It has the function of wireless synchronization with a smartphone using Apple CarPlay and Android Auto protocols. On all-wheel drive modifications, the media complex reflects a block of special information. Including an inclinometer, an altimeter, a compass and other data.
Other changes in the cabin include improved head restraints for the seats. Unified with the new Logan / Sandero and Clio, new upholstery materials. A center console shifted back by 70 mm (this is more convenient) with an additional 1.1 liter glove compartment and two USB ports.
The technical side of the modernization also not spare. In the Duster II range for the European Union, a six-speed preselective robotic gearbox with two clutches appeared. It is pair with a 150-horsepower 1.3-liter petrol turbo and front-wheel drive.
On the 4×4 version, such an engine is aggregate only with a six-speed manual gearbox. Gasoline engines with a capacity of 90 hp are also offer for the European Duster. (volume – 1.0 l) and 130 hp. (volume – 1.3 l). Diesel engine is one – 1.5-liter, 115 hp. A separate line is a bi-fuel machine with factory LPG – it consumes both gasoline and liquefied petroleum gas (propane-butane).
The updated Duster will appear on the EU market in September 2021. And the car will come out with an old-style badge. The new Dacia logo, present recently, will begin to be install on cars only in mid-2022.
