The latter is among the most comprehensive on the market and offers adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go as standard, automatic emergency braking, lane keeping, traffic sign recognition, blind spot monitoring during low-speed maneuvers and in reverse, hill start assistance, driver attention monitoring, and automatic high beam. Among the options, however, are the external cameras with a 360 ° viewing angle.

The highlight of the new Suzuki S-Cross Hybrid 2022, however, is the Full Hybrid technology powertrain that immediately catches the eye once the front hood is opened. The solution put in place by the Hamamatsu company provides for a 140 Volt architecture, characterized by an endothermic 1.5 Starview four-cylinder naturally aspirated engine of 102 horsepower combined with an additional electric unit that brings the total power up to the limit of 115 HP.

The entire system is managed by the six-speed AGS robotized gearbox and the 4 × 4 AllGrip Select four-wheel drive, which comes into play only when the car experiences a loss of grip on the front wheels. The battery pack? In the double bottom of the boot, there is a 0.8 kWh lithium-titanate accumulator, which ensures (from the technical data sheet) autonomy in Full Electric mode of about 5 km at a constant speed of 60 km / h with the main engine off. Consumption in the mixed cycle according to WLTP approval, on the other hand, settles at 5.8-6.0 liters per 100 km traveled.
