AUDI A8 2022: MATRIX LED HEADLIGHTS ARE COMING

The stylistic update of the new Audi A8 2022 is actually not very invasive because it only includes some changes aimed at enhancing even more a car (definitely) already in the premium range. Starting from the front, the Single Frame grille is now larger than the 2021 model and can count on new side air intakes and a revised lower bumper with 3D chrome inserts, later also offered on the new side skirts.

The “highlight”, however, is represented by the new LED Digital Matrix optical groups as an option at the front and by the standard OLED ones at the rear : the former are composed of the beauty of 1.3 million micro-mirrors capable of changing their orientation. up to 5,000 times per second, with the aim of better illuminating the road in front of the vehicle and generating shadow areas so as not to dazzle other approaching road users.

Furthermore, these headlights are equipped with adaptive high beams and a special light beam capable of not only following the cornering trajectory , but also helping the driver to stay in the center of his lane by illuminating the two white stripes that delimit it. At the rear, on the other hand, the OLEDs can be customized in their visual representation and make their contribution by turning on in an emergency when another car is, according to the sensors, too close.

AUDI A8 2022: THE INTERIOR BECOMES A MULTIMEDIA LIVING ROOM

As for the dimensions, the new Audi A8 2022 has been lengthened by 1 cm in both wheelbase versions (standard 3 meters with length of 5.19 and “L” from 3.13 meters with length of 5.31) and this makes it even more convenient and comfortable for its occupants. On the other hand, the best is expected from a flagship and in this case the top of the range from Ingolstadt does not disappoint, offering a cabin that becomes a real living room on balance .
