Born in Rovereto (TN) from an idea of ​​Matteo Bertezzolo, “Bermat GT-Pista” super sports car will be able to count on a platform of about 1,000 kg and a 400 HP engine.

Trentino-Alto Adige is certainly not the most suitable land for motors and racing: the most popular competition vehicles are motocross and enduro bikes due to the abundance of mountain trails… but fortunately there are exceptions.

One of these is called Bermat and is a Rovereto-based company specializing in the production of high-performance racing cars : the first model is the GT-Pista approved for use on the circuit and will arrive within the first half of 2022 at a price just under 2,25,594.00 usd … but what are its characteristics that make it truly unique?

Created from an idea of ​​the founder Matteo Bertezzolo in collaboration with Jas Motorsport of Arluno (MI), the Bermat GT-Pista is conceived as a vehicle with a 100% “homemade” construction that does not therefore require a “donor” car “like other similar ones: its platform, patented directly by Bermat, takes the name of T-MM and guarantees a truly absolute level of customization also in terms of mechanical components, including the materials of the internal cell in contact with the frame monocoque in carbon fiber, the width of the carriageways and the overall length of the wheelbase between the latter.

4.5 meters long, 2 wide 1.2 high, the Bermat GT-Pista boasts a dry weight of only 985 kg for an aesthetically designed car body by the Turin Camal: the lines recall the sports cars of the 80s and ‘ 90, with a front equipped with a splitter very adherent to the ground and a squared rear with a fixed carbon fiber wing.

The doors with gullwing opening are also very particular, in the center of an extremely perfected bodywork in terms of aerodynamics thanks to eye- catching air intakes at the front and in the side area.

Under the hood (rear), on the other hand, a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine derived from the Honda Civic Type-R was chosen , capable of developing the beauty of 400 horsepower and 450 Nm of maximum torque in combination with a gearbox. six-speed sequential with front engagement and a self-locking differential.

The rest of the technical sheet then highlights the presence of push-rod suspensions with adjustable shock absorbers, OZ Racing 18 ”light alloy wheels on Pirelli DHB tires and braking system with Bosch ABS system.

As a good racing car, the Bermat GT-Pista offers an interior devoted to driving on the track, essential and ultra-technological: the dashboard is in carbon fiber and, behind which there is a strictly racing steering wheel and OMP bucket seats.

After an initial planned production of ten units for this model, the Bermat of Rovereto already has in mind to create on the T-MM platform also a GT version approved for the road , therefore less extreme and more usable also thanks to less endothermic engines. pushed which can be accompanied by fully electrified powertrains.
