New “BRABUS 1300 R” announced by KTM & Brabus

KTM announced the new “BRABUS 1300 R” naked bike created in collaboration with German tuning car maker BRABUS. It will start pre-ordering from February 14th in Europe.

Two colors, “MAGMA RED” and “SIGNATURE BLACK”, are available, and only 77 units of each color will be produced.

 Born in 1977, Brabus is a brand known to enthusiasts around the world as a tuning car expert for over 40 years.

BRABUS 1300 R

 The BRABUS 1300 R, Brabus’ first naked bike, is equipped with a V-twin engine that produces 180HP / 9500rpm and 140Nm / 8000rpm, and is said to demonstrate performance suitable for the Brabus brand. Brabus’ design language “Black & Bold” has been adopted for the exterior, including two types of signature paint, BRABUS Monoblock Z forged wheels, high-end carbon body, and custom seats with attention to detail by BRABUS interior specialists.

 On the technical side, the latest WP APEX semi-active suspension is used. It is possible to select from 6 types of dedicated damping force modes, COMFORT, STREET, SPORT, TRACK, and ADVANCED, and AUTO mode, which is automatically adjusted according to the road surface and driving conditions.
