New Peugeot 2022 accelerates on the electric with e-Rifter & Traveler

From January 2022, Peugeot’s Rifter and Traveler range will be available exclusively in 100% electric versions.

Linda Jackson , Director of the Peugeot brand, has no doubts: “Our brand is at the forefront of electric mobility : 75% of our cars and 100% of our commercial vehicles are already available with electrified powertrains; in 2021, moreover, one in five Peugeot vehicles sold in Europe was equipped with electrified engines”.

This means that the transition to the world of zero emissions is achieving the desired results, also thanks to the novelty of focusing only on this type of engine for the Peugeot e-Rifter and Traveler ranges starting from January 2022.

Companies, individuals and professionals in the production sectors, therefore, can be directed to the purchase of the e-Rifter and the e-Traveler, two models that care about the maximum comfort of their occupants together with the need to reduce emissions, noise and vibrations when traveling on the road.

The first, capable of hosting up to seven people , is equipped with a 136 horsepower electric powertrain in combination with a 50 kWh battery pack , capable of reaching maximum autonomy with a single charge of 280 km according to the cycle of use. WLTP.

The Peugeot e-Traveler (also available in the Expert Combi work version) instead offers a 9-seater car body , driven by the same powertrain as the e-Rifter but associated with a battery pack with a capacity of 50 or 75 kWh.

This means that the autonomy can go up to 330 km , rechargeable up to 80% of its energy availability in about 30 minutes using the rapid 100 KW columns or in just over 7 hours with the dedicated Wallbox.
