Toyota Avalon 2022 model Annonced its New Grade!

Toyota Motor US department of December 23, “the 2022 model year Avalon in” (Toyota Avalon), as a sporty grade, announced that it would set a “touring”.

As for the exterior, the front and rear bumpers and front grille have been specially designed to emphasize the aggressiveness in Toyota Avalon. The front grille has a mesh piano black finish. A spoiler was attached to the trunk, and the feet were tightened with specially designed gloss black aluminum wheels. Also comes with dual exhaust. The LED headlights and tail lamps have a smoke finish.

The interior was fitted with aluminum trim. The material of the sheet is a combination of “SofTex” and “Ultrasuede”.

◆ 3.5 liter V6 engine has a maximum output of 301hp

There are two types of powertrain to choose from. A 2.5-liter in-line 4-cylinder gasoline + motor hybrid and a 3.5-liter V-6 gasoline naturally aspirated engine are available. Of these, the V6 draws a maximum output of 301hp / 6600rpm and a maximum torque of 36.9kgm / 4700rpm.

This engine uses “VVT-iW” on the intake side and “VVT-i” on the exhaust side. By delaying the closing timing of the intake valve, pump loss can be reduced and fuel efficiency can be improved.

All 2022 models are equipped with “Toyota Safety Sense” as standard equipment as an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS). In the 2022 model, it became “Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+”, and road sign assist and lane trace assist were added to the conventional system.

◆ Segment’s largest 10-inch head-up display

A 7-inch multi-information display (MID) is placed in front of the driver to display vehicle information, turn-by-turn navigation, and various vehicle settings. The information displayed includes Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+, intelligent clearance sonar, rear cross traffic alerts, and a blind spot monitor with a heads-up display.

Limited is equipped with the segment’s largest 10-inch head-up display (HUD). Information such as vehicle speed and engine speed, turn-by-turn navigation, audio settings, and driving mode is projected on the windshield.

Google’s “Android Auto”, Apple’s “CarPlay”, and Amazon’s voice-assisted “Alexa” are standard equipment on all grades. The touring is equipped as standard with Toyota Premium Audio equipped with 14 JBL speakers.

“Toyota Remote Connect” allows you to connect smart watches and Amazon Alexa-enabled devices. Drivers can lock and unlock vehicle doors, start engines, and check fuel levels through smartwatches such as the Apple Watch and Amazon Alexa-enabled devices.
