The more expensive version is equipped with the i-Force hybrid system, in which the internal combustion engine is assisted by an electric motor, the total power of the installation is 437 hp, and the torque is 790 Nm. Both engines are combined with a 10-speed hydromechanical “automatic”. The car is either rear-wheel drive or full.

The car will be offered in two body versions – Double Cab and Crew Cab. Both double-row, five-seater, differ in the length of the second row of the cab (Double Cab is more compact). 

The Double Cab can be combined with a 198 cm or 246 cm loading platform (optional), the Crew Cab with a 167 cm or 198 cm platform. 

The production of the new generation Toyota Tundra is being established at the Toyota Motor Manufacturing Texas (TMMTX) plant located in Texas (USA). Sales of the Tundra III will start at the end of 2021, the target markets for the model will remain the United States and Canada. Pricing has not yet been announced.
