2022 has finally arrived and this marks the invasion on the two-wheeler market of many new models, updated or created from scratch. KTM has several cartridges to shoot and among the most interesting is the KTM 1290 Super Duke GT 2022 whose price was unveiled a few days ago.

A little over a month has passed since the presentation of the KTM 1290 Super Duke GT MY 2022 and now the Austrian house has revealed a not indifferent detail: the price. The bike will go on sale at a cost of 23,420.2 usd ex-dealer just halfway between the Super Duke R (22,175.00Â usd) and the more Super Duke EVO (24,280.43Â usd).
The 1290 Super Duke GT was designed by KTM technicians to offer its drivers an unparalleled Gran Turismo experience, with an authentic sports chassis under the fairings, the new GT grinds kilometers like no other Sport Tourer in the world.
KTM 1290 Super Duke GT is powered by a powerful 1,301cc Euro5 V-twin with 175 HP and 141 Nm, managed by sophisticated electronics. Standard equipment includes ABS Cornering and Street, Sport and Rain riding modes, which can be expanded with the optional Performance mode. The Tech Pach paid software is also available for the most demanding pilots. This model is equipped with semi-active WP APEX suspensions that work with a dedicated logic.
The design approach to monoshock preload adjustment has been tailored to the needs of a long distance tourer, and is extremely intuitive. The algorithm allows riders to adjust the suspension for four different riding situations: rider, rider and passenger, rider and luggage or rider, passenger and luggage.
To complete everything, the anti-dive function is provided as standard. The large 7-inch TFT displayit is one of the innovations introduced with the 2022 model and allows for quick and easy adjustments in real time, thanks to a brand new layout that offers the perfect balance between information and look.
The rims are also new, the same ones installed on the naked sister KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R, which bring with them a 1 kg reduction in unsprung masses compared to the previous wheels. In addition to improving driving dynamics, they also feature a more aggressive spoke design.
The wheels are fitted with Continental ContiSportAttack 4 tires, which offer a sportier feeling and a more stable driving experience, responding to the dynamic versatility needs of the KTM 1290 Super Duke GT MY 2022.
