The introduction of a new Citroen ë-C4 humidity sensor together with an unprecedented calibration of the powertrain heat pump have allowed an increase in efficiency during everyday driving.

The brand new Citroen C4 and ë-C4 – 100% Electric made their debut on the Italian market at the beginning of last year and the public welcomed them with open arms: the third generation of the French crossover brought several innovations to both aesthetic and in terms of mechanics, given that under the hood the battery version (on the CMP platform) houses a powertrain with 136 horsepower, 260 Nm of torque and a maximum range calculated according to the WLTP cycle of about 350 km.

This is a very respectable technical data sheet, which for 2022 will be further refined thanks to some interventions which, as a result, have led to a slight increase in the overall distance with a single recharge. What has changed? On the new Citroen ë-C4 2022 a new humidity sensor has been introduced , an unprecedented calibration of the powertrain heat pump and a transmission with variation of the gearbox reduction ratio , thanks to which a +7 is now noticeable km in terms of tangency when it comes to tackling a medium-long distance journey.
This figure, however, is destined to further increase up to about 30 km , because the use of the car in real conditions must be taken into account : based on the external temperature, the driving style and the asphalt conditions (where appreciate class A + tires with low rolling resistance), the maximum range can reach 357 km and even beyond : what will make the difference, in any case, will be the ability of the driver to exploit all the potential urban and extra-urban.
