The luxury integrated models of the Sun I model series from Knaus will be available as a two-axle vehicle for the first time in the coming model year 2022. Knaus Sun I 700 LEG equips the Sun I 700 LEG with a GRP shower tray with real glass doors, an illuminated showcase in the entrance area and an unusual seating area.
Knaus has had the noble Integrated since 2015 under the name Sun Iin the range that scratches the price of the luxury liner class. In the coming model year it will be in addition to the three-axle layout900 LEGand 900 LX now also give the SUN I as a two-axis layout called the SUN I 700 LEG .
Interior Details of Knaus
Knaus installed two single beds in the rear and equipped them with high-quality EvoPore mattresses. The standard fold-down bed above the bow also has a slatted frame and the mattress mentioned above. If you don’t need two more beds, you can swap the fold-down bed for additional storage cupboards on the ceiling at the factory.
If you stand in front of the bed in the motorhome, you will find the classy GRP shower tray with real glass doors on the right-hand side . In the shower cubicle itself there is a practical radiator for wet towels. The rear wall of the shower has a slate look and is water-repellent. Opposite is the bathroom with toilet and large vanity.
The kitchen block adjoins the shower and has a three-burner stove and a 177 liter refrigerator with a 30 liter frost compartment. Knaus also offers a gas oven as an option. There is plenty of space for dishes in the soft-close drawers with automatic locking and full pull-outs.
The arrangement of the seating area is also rather unusual. It consists of an L-bench and a bench opposite. The arrangement should create maximum freedom of movement and a great sense of space.
Equipment Details
Like the 900 models, the Knaus Sun I 700 LEG comes on an Alko chassis with maximum lowering and Alde heating. The heated double floor in yacht look and the high-quality leather interior are definitely an eye-catcher . In combination with the wood decor and the elaborate lighting concept with many indirect lighting spots, the interior of the integrated looks warm and cozy.
The sloping seating area should provide maximum freedom of movement and a great sense of space. The showcase in the entrance area is also elegant.
The Sun I 700 LEG also has the so-called FoldXpand rear construction. This means that the rear light carrier forms a completely flat surface with the rear wall. This gives the interior almost 10 centimeter space.
The liner-like integrated Knaus Sun I will in future also roll through the streets on two axles. The combination of wooden floor in yacht look, real glass shower, elegant furniture and a well thought-out lighting concept make the Knaus Sun I 700 LEG a really elegant vehicle.
