The Mercedes Maybach EQS formalizes the Hall of Munich, Germany, the presentation of super refined EQS SUV Concept . Touted as a preview of the first all-electric vehicle that will be offered for sale in the coming years by the luxury division, the model draws attention for its design full of personality and interior with a very high level of refinement.
At the front, the gigantic grille formed by a series of vertical chrome fillets on a black background is highlighted. The headlights are narrow and integrated into the set, comprising even more chrome details on the lower part of the bumper. The bodywork features the traditional Maybach color combination, in this case with Obsidian Black Metallic on the top and Zircon Red Metallic on the bottom.
The sides draw attention right away for the gigantic 24-inch wheels with an exaggerated chrome finish, as well as for the contours – also chrome – of the windows and columns. The doors have built-in handles that, according to the brand, pop out when the driver approaches. Another perk given to the driver is the door that opens automatically.

Once inside, the driver can decide whether the rear doors should also be opened.The cabin, in turn, was inspired by elements of yachting. Highlight for the rear center console in white piano lacquer and rose gold details. The rear seats are individual and separated by a console that houses support for glasses of sparkling wine or drinks of the same type. At the front, the entertainment system is housed in a gigantic HD screen.
Mechanical details were not revealed, but it is certain that the autonomy of the electric set is around 600 km. When it hits the market, the Maybach SUV will be one of the most refined in its category. Mercedes will also have its own version of the EQS SUV, scheduled for launch in 2022
