Over the next weekend of February 19-20, Volkswagen dealers will carry out the “open doors” for the Italian debut of the Volkswagen Taigo.
The first compact SUV Coupé from the Wolfsburg company is ready to officially debut in Italy: on February 19-20 , in fact, the Volkswagen Taigo will finally be available in all dealerships in our country with a range that basically includes three engines (all petrol) and two trim levels – the “base” Life and the sportier R-Line.

Before giving you the updated price list, let’s quickly recall the most important specifications: the Taigo uses the same MQB A0 platform as the T-Cross and the Polo where a body has been modeled that combines sportiness and elegance with the charm of the sloping rear window, which limits overall length and stride to 4.26 and 2.57 meters respectively.
In terms of engines, the Taigo will be marketed with exclusively three or four-cylinder petrol engines: the starting point is the 95 HP 1.0 TSI (with manual gearbox), followed by the more powerful 110 HP version. (also available with the seven-speed DSG automatic transmission) and the top-of-the-range 150 horsepower 1.5 TSI (only with DSG gearbox).
As for the fittings, the Taigo is available in the Life version and in the sportier R-Line version: the first offers 16 “alloy wheels, manual air conditioning, 8” digital cockpit, optical groups as standard. LEDs, electrically heated and foldable rear-view mirrors, the 8 ”Ready2Discover infotainment and the ADAS IQ.Drive package.

The second, on the other hand, adds the specific details typical of the R-Line equipment together with the 17 “wheels, the privacy rear windows, the 10.25” digital cockpit, the sports seats with ArtVelours upholstery, the front and rear parking sensors. and the panoramic roof with electric opening.
The price list for Italy of the Volkswagen Taigo starts at 26,206 usd in the case of the 95 hp 1.0 TSI engine in the Life version, to reach 33,294 usd in the case of the top of the range 150 hp 1.5 TSI in the R-Line version. All the details are present in the diagram below:
