The restyling of the Volvo XC40 2023 was pinched online even before its official presentation: here are all the news.
This year the Volvo XC40 2023 will undergo its long-awaited “mid-career” restyling : it has been on the market since 2017 and the time has come for an important update for the Swedish brand’s SUV, both in terms of aesthetics and engines – which will certainly confirm the presence of hybrid technology variants (mild-hybrid and plug-in) and electric front-wheel drive or dual-motor all-wheel drive.
The presentation of the new Model Year is expected in the coming months, but apparently some online configurators of the Volvo brand (in particular that of the branch based in England) have taken everyone by surprise, publishing the first official images of what will be the next generation XC40.
As you can also observe by browsing the photos in the gallery, the aesthetic innovations are concentrated in a completely renewed front in the image and likeness of the “sister” C40 Recharge , therefore equipped with a more prominent and muscular bumper and sharper LED optical groups.
The grille, at least on the versions with combustion engine, remains open, while on the electric ones it will be closed as already happened on the current Model Years.

The design of the wheels is also completely new, while at the rear the 2022 update brings a spoiler with a different design and a more captivating LED light signature motif. Moving on to the cockpit, the novelties of the Volvo XC40 2023 will focus on the use of new materials for the seat and dashboard upholstery, where the infotainment with Google operating system and 9-inch touchscreen will be confirmed.
At this point we just have to wait for the official presentation by the Swedish brand to understand if these advances will be confirmed.
