The Wolfsburg manufacturer has published three more teaser sketches of the new Volkswagen Amarok, also revealing its overall length: 5.35 meters, +10 cm compared to the previous model.

There are only a few months left until the official presentation of the new Volkswagen Amarok and, in the meantime, the House of Wolfsburg wanted to feed the hype by publishing some teasers that better show its potential. Developed in collaboration with Ford using the shared base of the Ranger, now we also know some data of this pick-up: its total length, in fact, will be 5.35 meters and this means an increase in size equal to 10 cm compared to the generation . previous, which also equates to more space for those sitting on the second row of seats.
Looking better at the sketches, the design will also be different: the front promises to be more muscular and imposing (also thanks to the promise of greater ground clearance that will guarantee improved off-road use), while the interiors will be more refined and geared towards an equipment multimedia that will include both the digital cockpit and the latest generation Volkswagen infotainment. without forgetting the inevitable Level 2 electronic driving aids.
Engine Performance
As for the engines, the new Volkswagen Amarok 2022 will first of all update the turbo-diesel V6 TDI with greater maximum power available, thanks to which it will take full advantage of its towing capacity even on the most difficult trails.
There will also be petrol alternatives and, in all likelihood, even a sports version for the moment hypothesized with the name of “Amarok R”: for all the confirmations of the case, however, we will have to wait a little longer.
