The Gaydon factory has taken the shape and performance of its Aston Martin DBX707 SUV to the extreme: now power and torque reach 707 horsepower and 900 Nm.
A “shock” was needed in the world of high-performance SUVs and this came from Aston Martin: the House of Gaydon, in fact, took its DBX, taking its concept to an extreme both aesthetically and, above all, mechanically, bringing in the field of performance which make it the most powerful “high wheels” ever built to date. With 707 horsepower and 900 Nm of maximum torque, the new DBX707 represents the spearhead (with raised trim) of the British factory: let’s find out together!
ASTON MARTIN DBX707: MORE AGGRESSIVE AND AERODYNAMIC
As you might expect, the new Aston Martin DBX707 has first of all been aesthetically improved thanks to a renewed body kit (standard in glossy black and on request in carbon fiber) which increases the size of the front grille and introduces air intakes. larger , especially useful for cooling the powerful V8 engine under the hood. All new are also the daytime running lights and the splitter (always at the front), which together with the diffuser and the rear spoiler help to refine the aerodynamics at high speeds.
Moving on to the passenger compartment, the innovations are limited to the revised proportions of the center console (now able to accommodate the controls for managing the driving modes, suspension settings and the sound of the four tailpipes) and the presence of standard sports seats (possibly replaceable with the Comfort ones at no extra cost) with carbon fiber shells. The basic upholstery is in leather and Alcantara , but if you want you can switch to the Aston Martin personalization program to sew the “tailor-made” on-board experience.

The highlight of the new Aston Martin DBX707, however, is hidden under its hood: the starting point is represented by the same 4.0 Liter V8 of the “normal” DBX, on which, however, two new turbo-compressors have been installed which – together with a different calibration of the control unit and the new exhaust system with four terminals – now guarantee a truly class-leading performance output.
The data sheet speaks of 707 horsepower and 900 Nm of maximum torque , managed by all-wheel drive and a new nine-speed automatic gearbox with oil bath clutch that helps make gear changes faster and more precise. Accounts in hand, the DBX707 surpasses the previous model by 157 horsepower and 200 Nm and also beats in the sprint the rivals Lamborghini Urus (stopping at 650 horsepower) and Bentley Bentayga Speed (635 hp), among other things without bringing any form as a dowry. of additional electrification. In this way the top speed reaches 310 km / h , while the 0-100 sprint stops the clock at 3.1 seconds.
ASTON MARTIN DBX707: MORE EFFICIENT SUSPENSION AND BRAKES
The substantial improvement of the engine, of course, also required a substantial refinement of the chassis, suspension and brakes: the new Aston Martin DBX707, in fact, now uses pneumatic suspensions (with electronic roll control system) with shock absorbers much more ready both in phase compression and rebound, while the braking system features 42 mm carbon-ceramic discs at the front and 39 mm at the rear with six-piston calipers.
Even the feeling on the steering has been revised to function of a greater “body” while driving and this has been possible thanks to the refinement of the electronic differential at the rear: the latter now uses a higher final ratio and this allows you to make the most of torque in the lower ratios and in the acceleration phases with the car stationary.

As for prices and availability, the new Aston Martin DBX707 will go into production during the first quarter of this year with deliveries expected from the second (therefore from April onwards ), with a price list that will certainly be higher than that of the DBX. “Normal” attacking the 2,36,180 USD market.
